Immaculate rooms and delightful breakfast await you! I enjoyed a brilliant night's sleep in a small double room, equipped with excellent heating and air conditioning. The friendly staff made me feel safe and welcome as a solo female traveler, and they were incredibly accommodating with my gluten-free needs. Simply wonderful!

The warm and inviting atmosphere of the pub made for a cozy evening, and the breakfast of poached egg-on-toast was a delightful start to my day.

    Recommend it for solo travelers

The staff were super friendly, greeted me like an old friend when I arrived. Plus, the room was immaculate, even had hot chocolate waiting for me, I mean c'mon, who doesn't love that?

It wasn't inexpensive, but honestly, it was still reasonable for what you get.

    Perfect for solo stay!

Had a solid night in a cozy small double room. The AC was on point, making me super comfy. The staff were really friendly and the gluten-free breakfast was delish! Loved the in-room breakfast option. Just wished the shower had a bit more water pressure, but that's a minor thing.

The side entrance slammed shut loudly, making it slightly disruptive. Limited dining options can be improved, and it's inconvenient to rely on a sister hotel for meals!!! Consider expanding the menu for more variety!!!

The Canal is a cozy and modern place that’s beautifully done up from its past as a pub. I loved that my small double room was immaculate and comfortable, complete with a flat-screen TV and a kettle for instant warm drinks. The staff were incredibly welcoming and eager to ensure a pleasant stay.

The Small Double Room was spotless and had a cozy vibe. The bed was super comfy, like it was hugging me all night! The air conditioning worked great, keeping everything just right. I felt really safe as a solo traveler, which is a big plus. Only downside was maybe a lack of evening dining options, but honestly, I was so happy with the room that it didn't even matter.
